Where is the Retreat? This is my favorite part... The retreat is being held at a Nature Spa located in picturesque Old Chelsea, Quebec. The nature spa borders beautiful Gatineau Park where you can see the beautiful Canadian autumn in all of its glory.
The nature spa is unique in that it is completely dedicated to the practice of Scandinavian relaxation techniques such as Nordic baths. However, it is not the techniques that is the site's major asset. The location and natural scenery you will take in here rivals any nature spa you will find.
Our Retreat Itinerary You're coming to this retreat to learn from a veteran virtual assistant but also to relax. So, we've incorporated both into our retreat itinerary! Please keep in mind that as we approach the date, a more concrete itinerary will be produced with times, session information, etc. Friday, September 19, 2008 Early Morning - Participants fly into Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (Ottawa International Airport - airport code YOW). Participants meet in a central location for transportation (30-45 minutes to nature spa). (Airfare is not included and is the responsibility of each participant.) Afternoon - Check into the Nature Spa. First session begins with meet and greet as well as a website and business hotseat. Everyone participates in this and we get each participant to go through their current business and we look at their website to provide feedback and advice. Lunch is served during this time. Evening - Dinner and casual networking / relaxing evening in our private Lodge.
Saturday, September 20, 2008 Early Morning - Masterminding sessions begin. A breakfast is served while we mastermind and work on our businesses. Afternoon - Lunch is served. Time is given to enjoy Nordic baths or enjoy spa services. For those of you who do not wish to partake in services, Erin will be available at the Lodge for some one-on-one time. Evening - Dinner inside the private Lodge and an evening masterminding session occurs. Focus is put back onto individuals and a group mastermind occurs for everyone's business. Sunday, September 21, 2008 Early Morning - Breakfast and relaxation. Afternoon - Check out of the Nature Spa. Transportation back to the city of Ottawa. For those with late flights, a tour of the downtown area of Ottawa - including the Parliament Buildings and other notable locations - will be given by Erin Blaskie herself. Evening - Flight departures and retreat concludes. Note: Itinerary is subject to last minute changes. Although this will not be likely, we can not foresee everything that could happen in future.

Help! I'm in the US or Another Country... It's actually pretty easy! All you need is a passport from your originating country. They are pretty inexpensive to get and you just need to apply at least 10-12 weeks in advance (sometimes longer so check with your passport office!) Here's a tip... When going through the border, make sure that you say that you are attending a meeting / business retreat only. Unless you have a working Visa for our country, they could deny you entry if they think you are working here - even if you are only sending one little e-mail.
