The Virtual Assistant Spa & Business Building Retreat
May 27, 2008
Calling All Virtual Assistants Who Need a Business Boost & A Totally Relaxing Spa Retreat Weekend With Erin Blaskie, The VA Coach, and Ten Other Brilliant Virtual Assistants

On September 19, 20 and 21 of 2008, ten lucky virtual assistants will get to spend the weekend with Erin Blaskie, The VA Coach, and ten other participants to mastermind, relax at the spa and build great things for their businesses.
We’re going to cover topics such as:
- Enhancing our websites for maximum appeal and sales conversion
- Turning our businesses into six-figure businesses
- Building a multi-VA practice
- Creating passive revenue streams
- Organizing your business to run without you
- Client management and long-term satisfaction from your clients
- Partnerships that will help increase your business portfolio
- And SO much more…
We’re also going to do website and business hotseats which will:
- Force you to run through your business (the good, bad and ugly) with the group so that we can pick up on your problem areas
- Teach you tips and tools you can use for the long-term as it relates to both YOUR business and YOUR website specifically
- Allow you to ask questions of The VA Coach and the other participants with regards to the way your business is currently run
- Let you see your business in a new light and through a different set of eyes. It’s amazing what a bit of perspective can do!
Where is the Retreat?
This is my favorite part… The retreat is being held at a Nature Spa located in picturesque Old Chelsea, Quebec, Canada. The nature spa borders beautiful Gatineau Park where you can see the beautiful Canadian autumn in all of its glory.

The nature spa is unique in that it is completely dedicated to the practice of Scandinavian relaxation techniques such as Nordic baths. However, it is not the techniques that is the site’s major asset. The location and natural scenery you will take in here rivals any nature spa you will find.
What is the Cost of This Amazing Retreat?
Yes, this is an important part of telling you all about this retreat. We’ve priced it out so that it is affordable and worth every penny. You’ll get:
- Two nights, three days deluxe accomodation in a private lodge with the other retreat participants. (Airfare is not included and is the responsibility of each participant.)
- All meals paid - meals are gourmet and completely healthy… The spa is all about indulgence in a good way.
- Spa services included.
- Business masterminding sessions throughout the weekend.
- Access to the Nordic baths and other facilities on site.
- Three one-hour coaching sessions with The VA Coach after the retreat for accountability.
- A copy of The VA Coach’s ‘Skyrocket Your VA Business to Six-Figure Success’ print product (huge binder and CDs) which is not yet available to the public
- And much, much more…

FoVA (Forum on Virtual Assistance) Recap & Photos
May 5, 2008
This weekend (May 2-4) was the FoVA Conference in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was held at the Delta which featured stunning conference facilities and really great rooms
(we upgraded to the Executive Deluxe floor!) This was the first virtual assistance conference I attended and let me tell you, it was fabulous. You know how sometimes you get the feeling, working remotely from others, that you are working inside of this little box and it isn’t until you get out around your peers that you realize that people do notice? That’s what I felt like at this conference. It was amazing.
I presented during the conference on the subject of creating passive revenue streams in your business. If you’d like to grab a copy of that presentation, I’ll be posting a link to the blog shortly. You can download them even if you aren’t a VA as the information is great for any Internet-based business owner. I love, love, love to speak to others about the things that I do. It’s amazing to be able to share and everyone in my presentation got to experience, first hand, my insanely over-idea’ed brain.
All right, so enough from me, let’s get on with the photos!

Bermuda Here I Come…
April 23, 2007
After a busy week doing heaps of projects for my clients, booking new people into the schedule for blog packages and being a guest expert on a teleseminar for the Association of Web Entrepreneurs, I’ve come to the conclusion that I need a week away to work in a new location, re-focus and re-energize.
So… I’m headed to Bermuda! (Side note for my friend Tiffany, I promise I’ll avoid the Triangle at all costs!)
As always, it will be a working vacation and I do plan on getting a lot done both for my clients as well as for own business development. There are some info-products that I want to map out and a few new services that I want set the groundwork for.
I wanted to pose the question of: what do you do when you need to re-focus? Do you travel? Find a quiet place in your home? Take a spa day? What is that you do to re-focus, re-energize and get re-aligned?
Reporting from the Road
March 29, 2007
Good Morning!
I’m in San Antonio, Texas now and the weather here is beautiful! I’m having a wonderful time visiting my friends and clients. I just spent the last three days in San Francisco and the Palo Alto area in California. It was wonderful! San Francisco is a great city and it was nice to check out the surrounding areas. Here are some snapshots of my time spent there:
Here is one of the San Francisco skyline taken from Alcatraz Island:

Here is one of the Golden Gate Bridge which I drove across (yay!):

Here is one of the Pacific Ocean. I drove down Highway 1 which runs right along the Pacific Ocean - it’s breathtaking!:Â

I’ll report back in a few days but I wanted to touch base with my blog and send some photos! Who doesn’t love photos?
